The investigation of mediation, arbitration and conciliation is carried out from various branches of scientific knowledge (family, civil, commercial, business, international) also incorporating experience through collaboration with professionals from different areas, who provide the practical application of current regulations at the state and regional level. The GIMARC Research Group's main objectives are: 1. Promote exchanges of experiences between research groups, teachers and practicing professionals that contribute to the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of conflict resolution through alternative means to the jurisdictional field: mediation, arbitration and conciliation. 2. Promote spaces for the exchange of experiences between various Universities in the study of alternative means and procedures through which people can resolve their disputes. 3. Promote national and international alliances for the transfer of knowledge to society and the academic community. 4. Create a Permanent Research Seminar for the study of mediation, arbitration and conciliation in different legal fields: civil, commercial, international, labor, family, etc. 5.
